Refund policy

RETURNS, CREDITS & EXCHANGES
If you are not happy with your order Meraki will accept returns and exchanges within 10 days from date of receiving your purchase for manufacturing defects only. Please contact us at customercare@merakiaccessories.ca and we can offer a store credit for any returns of regular priced pieces that are unworn and still in their original packaging. Sale items are final sale and are not eligible for return or exchange. Pieces that show obvious signs of use will not be accepted. Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer. Meraki will not be responsible for pieces lost or damaged during the return process. Original shipping costs will not be refunded. Refunds on item(s) which are not found to be defective are subject to a 20% restocking fee. If 10 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately we can’t offer you a refund or exchange.

To complete your return, we require your order/invoice number as proof of purchase. A (RA) Return Authorization will be supplied by Meraki customer care and and must accompany the return.

Any jewelry returned without prior authorization will not be accepted.

CREDITS
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your credit. If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your account for future use.

EXCHANGES
We only replace items if they are defective by manufacturing defect only. Items can only be exchanged for the same items originally purchased. If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email at customercare@merakiaccessories.ca to obtain and (RA) Return Authorization number and further instructions for exchanging your jewelry item.

RETURNS FROM PURCHASES AT OUR RETAIL PARTNERS
Meraki will not accept any returns purchased from one of our retail partners. All returns for items purchased at retail should be returned to the original retailer where the items was purchased. This includes claims for manufacturing defects. When our retailers buy from us, they take ownership of those items. Therefore, Meraki is unable to process any returns, refunds or exchanges on any products not directly purchased from us.

REPAIRS
There are many factors that determine the lifespan of fashion jewelry. The materials used have definite limitations* such as wear, moisture, storage, care and more that affect their longevity. Since these factors are outside of our control, we cannot offer any guarantees for the products lifespan.

However, if your jewelry does become damaged or in need of repair we are happy to review it's ability for repair for a cost. The minimum repair cost is $10. The customer is responsible for all shipping costs incurred during the repair process.

Contact customercare@merakiaccessories.ca with the subject line "Repair Request". Include photo(s) of your damaged jewelry so that we may access the items eligibility for repair. Please ensure any broken pieces/components of the jewelry are included in the photo(s).

TARNISHING*
All jewelry will eventually tarnish. Tarnish is a layer of corrosion that develops on many metals. Sulfur and other airborne chemicals are the main cause of tarnishing. Tarnish can be accelerated by: being left out in the open and exposed to air; chemicals found n perfumes, lotions and hair care products; excessive exposure to heat; the sulphur and sodium found in sweat along with moisture from your skin and friction from daily wear are the biggest contributing factors.

SENSITIVE SKIN
Meraki recommends, if you have highly sensitive skin, you only wear precious metals, such as genuine gold and sterling silver.

SHIPPING
You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returns, exchanges and repairs on your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.

Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary.

Meraki recommends you consider using a trackable shipping service. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
